We Must Act Now

Artificial intelligence is transforming work, education, and daily life at an extraordinary pace. Some people understand these tools well. Many others are being left behind — losing jobs, losing income, and searching for answers. This is a calm call to come together.

What we believe

AI is reshaping society at a pace that has no historical precedent. People across every demographic — workers, students, parents, professionals — are encountering changes they did not choose and do not fully understand.

Our institutions can adapt. But grassroots action is necessary too. People need to be looking after each other on all levels — in their communities, their workplaces, their families.

There is great uncertainty about what comes next. We do not claim to have all the answers. But we believe that uncertainty of this magnitude demands organized, collective response — not passivity.

Peace is an absolute priority. Whatever this movement does, it will be grounded in nonviolence, respect, and constructive dialogue.

We are non-partisan and evidence-based. We are transparent about our own use of AI. And we believe that people need to be with people during this moment — because the technology is confusing and disorienting, and human connection is not optional.

What we intend to do

  • Collect voices

We are gathering the experiences, concerns, and ideas of anyone affected by AI's impact. Your story matters.

  • Build regional groups

AI's effects are local. We anticipate people gathering in their communities to support each other and coordinate action.

  • Convene expert panels

The technology is complex. We will bring together experts to help people understand what is happening and what the options are.

  • Hold conventions

When the time is right, we will gather to formally adopt the movement's positions. We do not know the optimal timeline — and we say that honestly.

  • Make resources available

Psychological support, educational materials, and community connections — for everyone, not just members.

Support this project

This project is built by a ~15-year Google software engineer, educated at Stanford University in the computer science department, who is hoping to take a leave of absence to work on AI issues full time. Your support helps make that possible.

All donations are voluntary and one-time by default. No recurring charges unless you explicitly opt in.
